Nobody can honestly quote a repair price over the phone for a fault they have not seen, and any company that does is pricing the risk into you. So we price in two stages: a refundable inspection fee to diagnose properly, then a fixed written quote for the work. This page explains both, including the parts other companies leave vague.
How our Dubai maintenance pricing works: the AED 200 refundable inspection fee, fixed written quotes and itemised materials. No invented job prices, just honest
When a fault needs diagnosis on site, we charge a 200 dirham inspection fee for the visit. That fee pays for a directly employed technician's time, the travel, and a proper diagnosis using actual measurement rather than guesswork: pipe temperatures, pressure readings, amperage draw, isolation testing. Here is the part that matters: the fee is fully refunded against the work if you go ahead with our quote. Proceed with the repair and you never pay it. Decline, and the 200 dirhams covered a genuine investigation and a written explanation of what is wrong, which you can take anywhere. We think that is fair to both sides, and it keeps us honest: if we want the job, we have to diagnose it properly first. There is no charge for phone advice where the fault is obvious and the fix is simple.
An estimate is a number a company expects to exceed. A quote is a number we are bound to. Once we have diagnosed the fault, you receive a written fixed quote broken down into labour and materials, with the parts itemised by name. That price does not move if the job turns out harder than expected once the ceiling is open or the unit is stripped. We priced the difficulty when we quoted it, and the risk of the unknown sits with us, not you. The only exception is a genuinely hidden condition that no reasonable inspection could have revealed, for example a corroded pipe section discovered inside a wall, and in that case we stop, photograph it, explain it and quote the addition before any extra work happens. You approve every dirham before it is spent, in writing, always.
We will not publish a job price list, because any list of that kind is fiction until someone has seen the equipment. The same symptom, weak cooling, could be a blocked filter, a failed capacitor, a leaking coil or a dying compressor, and those repairs differ by an order of magnitude. What we can be specific about is what drives the number: equipment type and age, parts availability for your unit's brand, access into roof spaces and ceiling voids, and whether the work is emergency or scheduled. Preventive work is consistently the cheaper category. A scheduled drain flush and coil clean each year costs a fraction of one ceiling rebuild after a condensate overflow, and that comparison is the honest version of a price list.
Payment is due on completion, by card or transfer, and every job closes with a written report: what we found, what we did, the parts fitted and what to watch for going forward. For annual maintenance contracts, the price is fixed for the full twelve-month term and the survey inspection fee is refunded against your first payment. Materials are itemised on every invoice so you can see what each part cost rather than a lumped "materials" figure. Warranty applies to our workmanship and the parts we supply, and if a repair we made fails within the warranty period we return and put it right at no charge. If anything on an invoice does not match the quote you approved, that is ours to resolve, not a negotiation. Call +971 50 168 5444 for a diagnosis booking.
Speak to a technician now, not an answering service.
Yes, fully, against the work if you accept our quote. If you decline the repair, the fee stands as payment for the diagnosis and written findings, which you keep and can act on with any contractor. If the fault is diagnosable over the phone as something simple, we say so and skip the visit entirely.
No, not for the scope quoted. The fixed quote is binding on us, including unforeseen difficulty within that scope. The only circumstance for an additional charge is a genuinely hidden fault discovered mid-job, and that requires our stopping, showing you and getting written approval for a separate quoted addition before continuing.
Because an honest price requires knowing the actual cause. The same symptom can have repairs ranging from hundreds to thousands of dirhams depending on the failed component. A phone price is either a guess padded to cover the worst case, or a low figure designed to get a technician through your door before the real number appears.
